This happy little number begins with a comfortable little bed of shakers and claves, as a Hammond organ and some cool tropical keyboard flavors establish the basic groove. After a few bars, the keyboard bass and Fender Rhodes add their distinct colors to the mix, as a classic Wurlitzer organ begins playing the spritely melody that will dance playfully throughout the rest of the tune. After the melody is complete, the Wurlitzer begins a spirited solo that uses lots of neat little melodic tricks to make its point. After the solo is halfway through, it then goes into a higher sonic dimension by employing a series of melodic triple stops as a piano enters playing wide octave whole notes on the backbeat.
After this animated solo is completed, the piece returns to the stripped down groove presented at the beginning and then the melody is played one more time before the work finally comes to an end.
